Channel and post limits

Limits are what make a cheap plan cheap and an expensive one worth the money. Each plan carries its own numbers for connected channels and for scheduled posts per month, and the add-on enforces them at the moment the tenant tries to go over.

What you can do

• Cap the total number of connected channels per plan.
• Cap channels per network as well, for instance five Facebook pages but only one YouTube channel.
• Cap the number of posts a tenant may schedule in a calendar month.
• Cap how many images and videos may be watermarked.
• Set any limit to unlimited for your top plan.

How it works

Channel limits are checked when a channel is connected or reactivated, under a database lock so two browser tabs cannot slip past the cap together. Post limits are checked when schedules are created, when a post is rescheduled and when auto-share would create a new schedule. When a limit is reached, the tenant's dashboard shows the limit in place and offers the upgrade path instead of a generic error, and the tenant lands on their billing page to change plan.
