Lifecycle email templates

Tenants hear from your platform at every important moment: when they sign up, when a payment lands, when a card fails, when a plan is about to expire. All of those emails are templates you can edit in the Workflows page, in your words and under your brand.

What you can do

• Edit the subject and body of each event's email in a rich-text editor.
• Insert placeholders for the tenant's name, plan, amount, expiry date, sign-in link and your brand.
• Send a test email to yourself before saving.
• Choose to send through WordPress mail or your own SMTP server with a custom sender name and address.

Events covered

Tenant created and tenant verified, subscription started, payment received, payment failed, payment refunded, subscription canceled, subscription disputed, tenant expiring soon, tenant deleted and the password reset. Thirteen templates in total; twelve are editable and the password reset uses the WordPress link mechanism.

How it works

Each template is stored per event with its placeholders. The billing engine, the sign-up wizard and the dunning sweep fire the events; the mailer renders the matching template and sends it through the transport you configured. Expiry reminders go out once per day per tenant, a configurable number of days before the date.
