Managed social apps

Tenants should not have to create developer apps on Facebook or LinkedIn to use your platform. With managed social apps you register the apps once, under your own developer accounts, and every tenant connects their channels with a single sign-in button.

What you can do

• Enter your app credentials for 19 networks under Settings, Social Apps.
• Offer tenants a one-click "sign in with the platform app" flow for each of them.
• Keep networks you have not configured hidden from tenants so they never see a half-working option.
• Combine managed apps with per-plan network access, so a plan can allow a network only through your app.

How it works

The operator's apps are stored as standard apps inside FS Poster core. Tenants can use them but cannot add, edit or delete apps of their own, and the app settings screens are write-blocked for the tenant role. OAuth callbacks return to your site and the resulting channel is stamped with the tenant who connected it. X (formerly Twitter) uses OAuth 2 through the fs-poster.com proxy, so you do not need an elevated developer account to offer it.
