Tenant self-signup

Customers sign themselves up. A three-step wizard on your public site creates the account, verifies the email address and collects the tenant's name and country, then drops them straight into their new dashboard. You do not have to touch the operator panel for a new customer to start.

What you can do

• Place the sign-up form on any WordPress page with a shortcode or a Gutenberg block.
• Choose between a six-digit code and a verification link for confirming the email address.
• Start every new tenant on a trial of the plan you pick, for the number of days you set, or on no plan at all so they must buy first.
• Send a welcome email from your own editable template once the address is verified.

How it works

Step one asks for an email and a password. The add-on sends the code or link; it is valid for 15 minutes, allows five attempts and can be resent after 60 seconds. Once verified, the WordPress user, the tenant record and the optional trial subscription are created and the tenant is logged in automatically. Step three asks for name and country and triggers the verified-tenant email. A tenant who closes the browser halfway is sent back to the wizard until it is complete.

The form carries a hidden honeypot field and per-IP rate limits, so bots and brute-force attempts are dropped before they reach WordPress. Author archives are disabled and the users endpoint of the REST API is removed, so tenant accounts cannot be enumerated from outside.
